Top 5 Outdoor Projects

I hope everything is going well for you, my friend! In this piece, I’d like to offer my top five outdoor projects. They are referred to as my top projects because they generate the most interest and downloads. However, they are enjoyable to construct and look fantastic in your yard or around your home. Enjoy!

You can watch my montage video first to get an idea of these 5 projects, or you can go forward to the 5 tutorials below.

#5 – Mason Jar Lantern

I adore this small wooden lamp. The mason jar serves as both the light’s globe and the activation mechanism for the push tab light. Only a few tools are required, and it’s simple to complete on a Saturday.

#4 – Giant Jenga Yard Game

Overall, the enormous Jenga-style yard game is a really simple build. Simply cut 48 blocks of wood and construct a basic box to contain them. My daughter did some painting and staining to make it appear beautiful. Handles and a bottle opener were also added.

To be clear, my daughter assisted me with this project and completed 98% of it. To be precise, I believe I assisted her. I’m extremely pleased of her artistic side and eagerness to learn new things.

#3 – Leopold Bench

This simple and attractive bench was designed by Aldo Leopold, who is widely regarded as the pioneer of wildlife management. I hope you enjoy building the Leopold bench. I’ll show you how to create the bench step by step, with plenty of images. There are only a few basic tools needed, and the skill level is low. For your convenience, I’m also giving free Leopold bench plans.

#2 – Adirondack Chair

Not another adirondack chair instruction, please! Don’t we already have enough of those? But I assure you that this design is unique. In my opinion, this is a beautiful design that will complement your back yard or porch. Some portions of the design are extremely simple, while others can be a little difficult. Overall, it’s a simple weekend project that requires only a few tools.

#1 – Cornhole Boards

I hope you like my new tutorial for making cornhole boards. I’ve been hunkered down like the rest of America during the Covid-19 pandemic. As a result, woodworking projects make spending time at home more enjoyable. My daughter had been pleading with me for a set of cornhole boards, so I readily obliged. I advised her to think of it as an early wedding present.

I hope you enjoy my list of the top 5 outdoor projects. All of these will improve your yard or home.
